Get Started with Buying Group Definitions

Buying Group Definitions is where you manage buying group records in a central list view. From this page, you can search for a definition, open an existing record, or create a new one.

The Buying Group Definitions, list page shows each definition's associated product, workflow status, creator, creation date, last modifier, and last modified date.

Create a Buying Group Definition

Create or update buying group definitions to use Persona, Behavior, and Target Account segments. Each definition must contain at least one persona segment, one behavior segment, and one account segment.

Use this procedure to create a buying group definition:

1. Sign in to Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications with a user account that has the required Buying Groups access.
2. Go to Navigator > Customer Data Platform > Behaviors.
3. Select Create from the Buying Groups Definitions list page.
4. Select a Product, enter a Buying Group Name and Description.
5. Select Continue and you can add Persona, Behavior and Account to the Buying Group Definitions page as follows:

   

6. Select Save
7. Publish the buying group definition.
