Deleting dimensions from Oracle Infinity

If you have the necessary rights, you can use the Library to delete custom dimensions from Oracle Infinity.

Important: Deleting a dimension from the Library will remove it from every report in which it is used.

To delete a dimension from Oracle Infinity:

Click the Library icon on the top menu. The Library page displays the objects that you can administer.
Click Dimensions.
The list of all dimensions is displayed. Standard dimensions are included in the list but their trash can icon is grayed out, which indicates that you cannot delete them.
Click the trash icon next to the custom dimension you want to delete. A confirmation message lists any reports that use the dimension (if any).
Type DELETE in the box and then click Delete.
