Troubleshooting mobile app uninstall tracking

This topic will help you troubleshoot errors that occur in mobile app uninstall tracking on Oracle Responsys.

Issue: I want to enable my mobile app for uninstall tracking, but it isn't shown on the App Uninstall Tracking page.

Apps that aren't correctly configured won't be displayed on the App Uninstall Tracking page.

Recommended actions:

  • Ensure that your mobile app is correctly configured in Oracle Responsys using the Mobile App Console. For more details, see Manage Apps and Platforms in the Oracle Responsys Mobile App Platform Cloud Service SDK Guide.

  • Ensure that your mobile app is connected to an app channel list in Responsys. To connect a mobile app to an app channel list, you must first create an app channel list for your profile list, and then you must associate the mobile app with the profile list and the app channel list using the Mobile App Configurations page. For more details, see Managing Mobile App Configurations.

  • For mobile apps distributed on iOS Development or iOS Distribution platform, verify that the mobile app doesn't have a PEM configuration error.

Issue: My mobile app was enabled for tracking, but it doesn't show any uninstalls detected, and there's an error message.

There is likely some issue that occurred with your mobile app's configuration. For example, if it's an iOS mobile app, the PEM file may have expired.
