Short URL hostname for multi-brand
Important: This feature is only available if it is enabled for your account.
Multi-brand gives you the ability to manage multiple brands for the email channel and SMS channel from within one Oracle Responsys account. With multi-brand enabled, you also have the option to have a short URL hostname for a brand's SMS channel. Learn more about Working with multi-brand accounts
To create a short URL hostname:
- Navigate to Account > Brand management. (Not seeing this choice? Refer to the Account management changes topic.)
- Click the brand for which you want to configure the short URL hostname.
- In the SMS panel, set the new short URL hostname.
- You will have to provide the following information for Responsys to configure the short URL hostname:
- A domain (for example, oracle.com)
Important: The branded domain used in the short URL hostname must be fully delegated to Responsys via NS delegation. Users can optionally delegate a domain name with a third-level domain (for example, the third-level domain in community.oracle.com would be community, and the second-level domain would be oracle). If your domain name includes a third-level domain, then your mobile subdomain name must include a fourth-level domain.
- A subdomain (for example, if the domain is oracle.com, the subdomain could be community.oracle.com)
Note: In this step, submit the desired mobile subdomain. Oracle Responsys creates it on your behalf.
- An error URL
- A notification email
- A domain (for example, oracle.com)
