Importing Audience Scope Files
Important: This option is available only if Organizational Access Control and Targeting by Organization are enabled for your account.
You can use Connect to import an Audience Scope file in Oracle Responsys. The Audience Scope file provides meta data for targeting by organization, used in programs, processes, and email campaigns.
Targeting by organization gives you the ability to target recipients that are assigned to one or more organizational units. The Audience Scoping Code assigns organizational units to recipients.
The Audience Scope file must:
- Match recipient via same key(s) as the profile table.
- Have the match keys as the first two columns in the file.
- Have a header
An Audience Scope file must Include the following columns:

AUDIENCE_SCOPE_CODE
This is the organizational unit to which to assign the recipient. This value must match the organization's Audience Scoping Code in the organizational hierarchy.
NOTE: If the Account Administrator changes the Audience Scoping Code of an organizational unit in the hierarchy, you must import a new file using the new code.
- STATUS
Specifies whether to add or delete the organizational unit assignment. Valid values are: A=add, or D=delete. One or both of these columns are used as the merge key in the import job.
