Manage Web Push App Configurations

Navigation (for Account Administrators only): Select The Account icon Account on the side navigation bar. Select Campaign management, and then select Web Push App configurations. (Not seeing this choice? Refer to the Account management changes topic.)

The Web Push App configurations page shows information about all Web Push apps configured for the account. You can send Web Push campaign messages to the web browsers of people who have opted in to Web Push notifications on your web site. You can add more Web Push apps using the Oracle Responsys App Developer Console.

To see all configurations for a web app, click next to the web app's name in the Web Push App Name column.

For more information about Web Push campaigns, see Launching a Web Push campaign with Campaign Designer.

About the profile list

Each web push app must be associated with a profile list that has an associated Web Push channel list. The Web Push channel list is used for Web Push campaigns. For more information, see Creating a Web Push channel list.

Ensure that you select the correct profile list for your web push app:

  • Details for all web site visitors that opt-in to receive Web Push notifications will be stored in the Web Push channel list associated with the profile list that you select.
  • The profile list will be used to associate any known / logged-in users that have subscribed to Web Push with their corresponding Web Push channel list records via the PROFILE_RIID_ column of the Web Push channel list.

To add or update a profile list:

Important: Changing the profile list here invalidates all Web Push campaigns associated with the web app.

  1. Click Add profile list or Edit profile list.

If you are editing a profile list, an Alert opens. Click Yes on the Alert to proceed.

  2. Select a profile list from the Profile list drop down list.
  3. Click Save.
