Resource Booking Planner
The resource booking planner provides a global view of bookings and resource utilization calculated per day, week, or month. You can drag bookings from one resource to another to reassign them, and you can also change the bookings start date, end date and duration with a simple mouse interaction. The resource booking planner provides a visual overview of bookings and utilization, and lets you identify and resolve booking conflicts and resource overutilization.
If the Resource Booking Approvals feature is enabled for your account, depending on your OpenAir account configuration, bookings with the approval status "Submitted" or "Approved" cannot be modified. You cannot drag to change the start date, end date, duration or resource booked from the Resource Booking Planner view.
To enable the Resource Booking Planner feature, contact OpenAir Customer Support. When the feature is enabled, the following role permissions and application settings are available:

Resource planner booking bar format - text options in drop down — Select the default format for the text showing on booking bars.

Disable daily option in resource planner — Check this box to hide the Daily utilization calculation option for all resource booking planner users.

Disable monthly option in resource planner — Check this box to hide the Monthly utilization calculation option for all resource booking planner users.

Disable weekly option in resource planner — Check this box to hide the Weekly utilization calculation option for all resource booking planner users.

To access the resource booking planner, go to Resources > Bookings > Planner. If QuickViews are enabled for your account, you can also click Booking Planner from the QuickView window.
