Create a sales order
Create a sales order to record the products or services that a customer ordered, their prices and quantities, and the applicable fulfillment, shipping, billing, and internal details. You can start from the Sales orders list, a customer, an accepted quote, or a copy of an existing order. Submitting the order creates a uniquely numbered sales order for processing, while saving it as a draft lets you finish it later.
Before you begin
You need products or services to add to the order. You can select an existing customer and contact or use Create new customer and Create new contact from the sales order form, so those records do not need to be created in advance. Fulfillable products also require inventory and fulfillment setup before the order can be fulfilled.
