Manage item fulfillments

Open an existing item fulfillment to review or edit the shipment, create a PDF, send it by email, customize its fields, or delete it. Open Menu > Products and services > Fulfillments.

Before you begin

• You need permission to view item fulfillments. Editing, customizing, sending email, and deleting also require permission for the corresponding action.
• An item fulfillment must already exist in Fulfillments > Item fulfillments.
• Before editing or deleting a posted fulfillment, confirm that the accounting period and related transactions permit the change. Deleting a fulfillment reverses its inventory and accounting effects.

View an item fulfillment

1. Open Menu > Products and services > Fulfillments.
2. Select Item fulfillments.
3. Search by item fulfillment or memo, or filter the list by date, customer, status, shipping cost, number of packages, item fulfillment, or memo.
4. Select the item fulfillment number.

QuickStart displays the shipment details. Addresses appears under More details. The record tabs include GL Impact, Audit log, Items, Fulfillment packages, Sent emails, and Accounting.

Edit an item fulfillment

1. Open the item fulfillment.
2. Select Edit.
3. Update the editable shipment details, items, or packages that apply.
4. Select Update.

QuickStart displays the updated item fulfillment.

Create a PDF or send an item fulfillment by email

1. Open the item fulfillment.
2. Open More actions.
3. Do one of the following:
   • Select Create PDF to generate a PDF of the item fulfillment.
   • Select Send by email, review From, To, and Subject, add recipients or an optional note when needed, select Preview email, and then select Send.

The generated PDF opens for review. For email, QuickStart closes the drawer and sends the message in the background. A notification confirms whether the email was sent, and a successful message appears in Sent emails.

Customize an item fulfillment

1. Open the item fulfillment.
2. Open More actions and select Customize.
3. Select Customize fields to create or manage custom fields, or select Customize segments to create or manage segments.

QuickStart opens the selected customization workflow for the Item fulfillment record type.

Delete an item fulfillment

1. Open the item fulfillment.
2. Open More actions and select Delete.
3. In the dialog whose title contains the fulfillment number, for example Delete IF-000235?, select Delete item fulfillment.

QuickStart displays Item fulfillment deleted and returns to the Item fulfillments list. The fulfillment no longer appears in the list.
