Create your password

Add a password as another way to sign in when you currently use a passkey or single sign-on (SSO). In the global navigation, select your name or initials, and then select My preferences.

Before you begin

• Your user must not already have a password configured.
• Have an existing passkey or SSO method available so that QuickStart can verify your identity.

Steps

1. In the global navigation, select your name or initials, and then select My preferences.
2. In Categories, select Security and authentication > Authentication.
3. In the Password section, select Create password.
4. Verify your identity with one of the available authentication methods.
5. In New password, enter the password that you want to create.
6. Enter the password again in Confirm new password.
7. Make sure the password meets every requirement displayed in the dialog.
8. Select Submit.

Result

QuickStart displays a New password created confirmation and sends a password change notification to your sign-in email address. You can use the new password the next time you sign in.
