Change your password

Change your QuickStart password before it expires or whenever you suspect that another person may know it. In the global navigation, select your name or initials, and then select My preferences.

Before you begin

• You must have a password configured as one of your authentication methods.
• You must know your current password. If you do not know it, reset your sign-in settings from the sign-in page.

Steps

1. In the global navigation, select your name or initials, and then select My preferences.
2. In Categories, select Security and authentication > Authentication.
3. In the Password section, select Change password.
4. In step 1 of the dialog, enter your Current password, and then select Next.
5. In step 2, enter the new password in New password and Confirm new password.
6. Make sure the new password meets every requirement displayed in the dialog.
7. Select Submit.

Result

QuickStart displays a Password changed confirmation and sends a password change notification to your sign-in email address. Use the new password the next time you sign in with a password.
