Ask a question in Ask Oracle

Use Ask Oracle in the global navigation to ask a natural-language question about QuickStart records, workflows, or Help content. The assistant opens a chat, displays its response and supporting links in the panel, and can request approval before performing an available action that changes data.

Before you begin

Ask Oracle must be available for your account. If New Chat is not displayed in the global navigation, the preview is not available to you.

The information and actions that Ask Oracle can use depend on your permissions and the capabilities enabled for your account. Supported capabilities can include finding and reading records, running and configuring reports, reviewing supported notifications and tasks, reviewing or changing supported preferences, preparing record changes, and submitting a Contact Support request. Notifications and tasks are read-only. Ask Oracle asks for approval before protected actions run.

Ask a question

  1. In the global navigation, select New Chat.
  2. In Ask a question, enter your question or describe what you want to do.
  3. Select Submit or press Enter.
  4. Review the response. If Ask Oracle proposes an action that changes QuickStart data, review and approve or reject the action before it continues.

The conversation is saved in Your chats after it has started. QuickStart uses AI and may make mistakes. Verify responses and review the underlying QuickStart records before relying on a result.
