How is net revenue from invoices and vendor bills calculated?

The Invoices vs vendor bills Home page metric compares customer invoice amounts due with vendor bill amounts due during the next eight weeks. It includes transactions due within that window, uses the transaction date for a vendor bill without a due date, and excludes amounts due before the current week or after the eight-week period.

The period starts on Monday of the current week and ends before Monday of the ninth week. Transactions are grouped into weeks that start on Monday.

QuickStart calculates the metric as follows:

Net amount due = Total invoice amount due - Total vendor bill amount due

The metric includes invoices and vendor bills with a due date in the eight-week period. For a vendor bill without a due date, QuickStart uses its transaction date. Transactions due before the current week or on or after Monday of the ninth week are excluded.

A positive value means more is due from invoices than is due for vendor bills. A negative value means more is due for vendor bills. The chart shows the invoice and vendor bill totals for each week, while the supporting lists show the highest-value invoices and vendor bills.
