Create an invoice

An invoice records the products or services sold to a customer and the amount the customer owes. Create one from a billable sales order, from a Closed - won quote that contains only nonfulfillable items, or as a standalone invoice when no source transaction applies. The starting point determines which customer, items, prices, and source relationships QuickStart supplies on the new invoice.

There are several ways to create an invoice. You can choose from any of the following methods:

• Invoice from quote

  • Create an invoice from a sales order through the customer page

  • Create an invoice from a sales order through the invoicing page

  • Create an invoice from a sales order through the sales orders page

• Standalone invoice
