Credit memos
A credit memo is a transaction that decreases the amount a customer owes and can reverse all or part of an earlier charge. Create one from an invoice or return authorization to retain its source details, or create a standalone credit memo, then apply, print, edit, void, copy, or delete it as its state permits.
When a customer receives a credit memo after they have paid an invoice, they can apply this memo to any of their open or future invoices.
