Settings
Use Menu > Products and services > Settings to configure defaults and supporting records for products, services, inventory, and shipping. The area contains item preferences together with carrier, service-level, shipping-method, and package setup used by receiving, inventory, sales-order, and fulfillment workflows.
- Item preferences sets the default costing method for new inventory products. You can override the default on an individual product.
- Shipping manages shipping carriers, carrier accounts, service levels, shipping methods, package types, and the ShipStation API integration.
Inventory count approvals are configured separately under Menu > Administration > QuickStart settings > Approvals.
