Currency Exchange Rate Integration with Banxico

The Mexico Complementary Features SuiteApp enables you to integrate NetSuite with Banco de México (Banxico) to import currency exchange rates.

Exchange rates imported from Banxico show the value of currencies from outside Mexico in Mexican pesos (MXN).

For subsidiaries with the Mexican peso as the base currency, NetSuite applies the rates to transactions in other currencies.

Before you set up the integration, you must:

• Enable the Multiple Currencies feature in your account.

  For more information, see Enabling Multiple Currency Feature.

• Create currency records for the Mexican Peso (MXN) and each currency for which you want to import rates from Banxico.

  For more information, see Creating Currency Records.

• Register with Banxico to obtain the exchange rates API base URL and token.

• Create an API secret using the token you obtained from Banxico. Take note of the script ID you define for the secret.
