Copying Tax Alias Mappings from Brazil

A tax alias mapping record matches a tax code with a tax alias. A tax alias is a placeholder for the tax amount in e-document templates. The alias indicates to NetSuite in which tag to enter the tax amount from a transaction.

Brazil Localization creates predefined tax alias mappings for the predefined tax codes provided by the SuiteTax Latam Engine - Brazil Records SuiteApp.

Copy a tax alias mapping record if you created a tax code for a special taxation or accounting scenario.

To copy a tax alias mapping from Brazil:

1. Go to Setup > Brazil Localization > Tax Alias Mapping.

2. Next to the tax alias mapping you want to copy, click View.

   The tax alias mapping opens in view mode.

3. From the Actions dropdown, select Make Copy.

   A new tax alias mapping record opens, with fields already filled.

4. In the Tax Code field, select the new tax code.
