Providing Access for Custom Smart Count Roles

To use custom roles with the Smart Count SuiteApp, you must provide access to specific pages and deployment records.

Access to Count Review and Dashboard Pages

To provide your custom roles with the access to the Count Review and Dashboard pages, complete the following steps:

To provide access to count review and dashboard:

  1. Go to Customization > Scripting > Single Page Applications.

  2. Click the link to the page that you want to provide access to.

  3. Click the Configuration subtab.

  4. In the Release Audience section, click the Set Up Audience button.

  5. Check the boxes of the roles that you want to add.

  6. Click Save.

Access to Deployment Records

To provide your custom roles with the access to the following deployment records, complete the following steps.

To provide access to deployment records:

  1. Go to Customization > Scripting > Script Deployments.

  2. Locate the deployment record and click Edit.

  3. Click the Audience subtab.

  4. From the Roles list, select the custom role that you want to give access to the deployment record.

  5. Click Save.

Access to Mobile App for Custom Roles

To provide access to Smart Count mobile app for your custom roles, complete the following steps.

To provide access to mobile app:

  1. Go to Setup > Custom > Mobile Applications.

  2. Click View beside Smart Count.

  3. Click Configure Independent Pages.

  4. In the Page field, select page_TaskListIndependentPage

  5. In the Page Element section, on the Mobile Page Element field, select TaskListIcon - Icon

  6. From the Roles list, select the custom counter role that you created.

  7. Click Save and Update App.

  8. Go to Customization > Center and Tabs > Center Tabs.

  9. Click Edit beside Mobile Emulator center tab with Shipping Center type.

  10. Click the Audience subtab.

  11. From the Roles list, select the custom role to which you want to provide access.

  12. Click Save.
