Transaction Locking SuiteApp

Warning:

As of April 2019, the Transaction Locking SuiteApp is not available for new installations, and Oracle-NetSuite ended support for the SuiteApp. If you already have the SuiteApp installed before April 2019, you can still continue to use it, but it will not receive fixes or upgrades anymore. You are advised to transition to using the GL Impact Locking feature.

In certain countries, accounting regulations require you to lock transactions to prevent anyone from making changes to them. The Transaction Locking SuiteApp locks transactions by hiding the Edit and Delete buttons from the following transaction records:

• Invoice

• Cash Sale

• Credit Memo

• Vendor Bill

• Vendor Credit

• Journal

• Vendor Payment

• Customer Payment

• Customer Refund

• Customer Deposit

• Cash Refund

This transaction locking affects transaction records only in subsidiaries set up for the following countries:

• Austria

• Brazil

• Denmark

• Germany

• Israel

• Sweden

• Switzerland

• Czechia

Warning:

After you install this SuiteApp, all roles lose access to the Edit and Delete buttons on those transaction records.

To install the Transaction Locking SuiteApp:

1. Go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles.

2. On the Install Bundle page, enter the following search criteria:

   Availability : Public

   Keywords : Transaction Locking, or the bundle ID 8791

3. Click Search.

4. On the search result page, click Transaction Locking.

5. Click Install.

6. Review the Preview Bundle Install page.

7. Click Install Bundle.
