Creating IBPT Parameters for Brazil (Brazilian Hub SuiteApp)

The parâmetros do IBPT (IBPT parameters) record stores information about the indicators established by the Instituto Brasileiro de Planejamento e Tributação (IBPT) chart.

The IBPT chart shows the average tax load levied on goods and services, which impacts the sales price of the items.

You must create parâmetros do IBPT records for the goods and services your company sells and that the IBPT chart includes. The information entered on the parâmetros do IBPT record must be the same as the information provided on the IBPT chart.

To create a parâmetros do IBPT record:

Go to BRHub > Fiscal > Parâmetros - IBPT > New.
In the Subsidiária field, select the subsidiary that sells the item.
In the NCM field, select the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (MCN) code for the item.
(Optional) If there is an exception to the MCN code you selected, in the EX field, enter the exception code.
In the Tipo field, enter the code for the type of the item.
In the Descrição field, enter the description of the item.
Enter the tax rates for the federal taxes levied on the item.
- If the item’s origin is domestic, in the Tributação Federal para Nacionais field, enter the tax rate for the federal taxes levied on the item.
- If the item’s origin is foreign, in the Tributação Federal para Importados field, enter the tax rate for the federal taxes levied on the item.
In the Tributação Estadual field, enter the tax rate for the state taxes levied on the item.
In the Tributação Municipal field, enter the tax rate for the city taxes levied on the item.
In the Data Inicial Vigência field, enter or select the start date for the enforcement of the IBPT parameter.

The start date indicates when the parameter takes effect.
In the Data Final Vigência field, enter or select the end date for the enforcement of the IBPT parameter.

The end date indicates when the parameter expires.
In the Chave field, enter the key number.
In the Versão field, enter the version number of the IBPT chart you used as a reference to create the record.
In the Fonte field, enter the source of the information you entered in the record.
Click Save.
