Creating a Rental Expense Category (Brazilian Hub SuiteApp)

To enter a rental expense in NetSuite, create a category for this type of expense.

To create a rental expense category:

  1. Go to Setup > Accounting > Setup Tasks > Expense Categories > New.

  2. In the Name field, enter a name for the category.

  3. In the Description field, enter a description of this category.

  4. In the Expense Account field, select the expense account for items charged to this category.

  5. In the Subsidiaries field, select the subsidiaries you want this expense category to be available to.

  6. In the Tipo de Despesa field, select Aluguel (Rent).

  7. Click Save.

After you create the expense category, set up the Imposto de Renda Retido na Fonte para Pessoa FĂ­sica (IRRF PF) calculation levied on this expense. For more information, see Tax Calculation for Taxes on Services in Brazil (Brazilian Hub SuiteApp).
