Field Mapping Transformations

Mapping revenue recognition fields with different data types sometimes transforms the source field value into the target field's data type.

If an Integer Number or Decimal Number type source field is mapped to a Percent type target field, the value entered becomes a percent in the target field. The following examples show how integer number and decimal number type source fields map to percent target fields:

  • Integer Number: A source field value of 7 becomes a target field value of 7%.

  • Decimal Number: A source field value of 3.22 becomes a target field value of 3.22%.

If a Date/Time type source field is mapped to a Free-Form Text or Text Area target field, the value is converted to the ISO standard. The following example shows how the date and time is converted to the ISO standard:

5/25/2023 at 6:000:00 am is converted to 2023-05-25 06:00:00.
