Forms/Dashboards in Planning and Budgeting Sync

Planning and Budgeting Sync lets you use NetSuite to access the forms and dashboards that are stored in your Planning and Budgeting. You first need to record the forms and dashboards in NetSuite.

To create a record of a form or dashboard in NetSuite:

  1. In NetSuite, go to NetSuite EPM > Planning and Budgeting > Forms/Dashboards.

  2. Click the Add Form/Dashboard button.

  3. In the Name field, enter the name of a form or dashboard that is configured in your Planning and Budgeting. The value must match exactly, including upper and lower case.

  4. In the Description field, enter a description to help you identify this form or dashboard in NetSuite.

  5. From the Type dropdown list, specify what you are adding to NetSuite, whether Form or Dashboard.

  6. In the POV (Point of View) text box, specify a list of POVs that can be applied to this form or dashboard. Each combination of POVs should be a separate line. For example: SUB_1, USD.

  7. If you want the form or dashboard to be displayed in the Planning & Budgeting Form/Dashboard portlet in NetSuite, check the Show First POV in Planning & Budgeting Form/Dashboard Portlet box. The portlet shows only the first line of POVs. For information about the portlet, see Planning & Budgeting Form/Dashboard Portlet.

  8. Click Save.

If you have already created a list of forms and dashboards at NetSuite EPM > Planning and Budgeting > Forms/Dashboards, you can click View next to the form or dashboard you want to access. If you are logged in to your Planning and Budgeting account, the form or dashboard opens directly in a new tab.

To update an existing record, click Edit next to the record you want to update. Make any necessary changes, and click Save.
