Advanced Manufacturing Overview

The Advanced Manufacturing SuiteApp extends your NetSuite manufacturing routing into the Advanced Manufacturing Work Bench. This connection enables manufacturers to define work instructions, associate material usage, compare resource supply with demand, and establish planned start and end times. You can further refine your manufacturing process by accounting for downtime and loss, and adding labor codes. You can also configure work order processing to suit your locations.

You can use mobile devices to capture and compile valuable shop floor data. You can use this data to produce comprehensive operational performance reports to help improve future processes.

To set up Advanced Manufacturing, you must have a NetSuite account with the Advanced Manufacturing SuiteApp installed. The post-implementation, or setup, portion of this reference guide is intended for administrators. It describes the core manufacturing and advanced manufacturing features that must be configured, in conjunction with NetSuite Professional Services.
