New Features and Enhancements

  • New bundle components have been added for the in-development Recurrence feature:

    • custevent_nx_recurrence_propagate

    • custevent_nx_recurrence_updates

  • A new NextService Asset Type record with script id custrecord_nx_asset_type has been added to extend the Asset record with additional information about its type.

  • In preparation for improvements to the scheduled script processing in a future release, new components have been added to the bundle. These new field are hidden on existing form and have no code applied to them:

    • custevent_nx_program_update

    • custevent_nx_status_update

    • custevent_nx_unbilled_update

    • custevent_nx_notification_pending

    • custentity_nx_contact_update

    • custentity_nx_program_update

    • custcol_nx_consumable

  • The Scheduled Script customdeploy_nx_task_time_sync has been replaced with customdeploy_nx_timezone. customdeploy_nx_task_time_sync was scheduled to run every 15 minutes to sync Date, Time, and Time Zone fields on Tasks that required it. This logic has been moved to customdeploy_nx_timezone and is scheduled only on demand as Tasks records are submitted.

  • Legacy versions of NextService supported the ability to create Parent/Child relationships with CRM Tasks. This functionality has long been deprecated but the field, custevent_nx_task_parent, has now been removed from the bundle.

Bug Fixes

  • IS01114: A problem was resolved that caused Entity dependant fields on Sales Orders to not be preserved when users created or moved its associated Case. This issue only effected accounts with Project Management disabled.

  • IS01074: A problem was resolved that caused the Resource index page to error when loaded if it had the search option enabled and the user had created a new article with an empty select value. This error no longer occurs and users can navigate to these pages.

  • IS00315: The NextService Mobile User field is now available for CSV imports. The field Display Type has been changed from Disabled to Normal.

    Note:

    The NextService Mobile User field will only appear in the CSV Import field options if its Display Type on the selected Custom Form is Normal.
