Syncing an Email to NetSuite

You can use the NetSuite Connector for Outlook add-in to sync an email and selected attachments to a particular Customer, Contact, or Opportunity record in NetSuite.

To sync an email to NetSuite:

The email message and attachments are synced to the selected record's Communication subtab.

  1. In Outlook, open the email you want to sync.

  2. Launch NetSuite Connector for Outlook.

  3. On the Matching Records of the Manual tab, check the record that you want to sync this email message. You can select multiple records.

    Note:

    The matching records are determined based on the email addresses found in the email. See Matching Records in NetSuite Connector for Outlook for more information.

    If you want to sync the email to a record that is not available in the Matching Records, you can search for the record and manually add it to Matching Records. For more information, see Adding a Record to Matching Records.

  4. Under Attachments, check the attachments that you want to include in the email sync.

  5. Optional. Under New Records, you can create a new record for email addresses in the email that do not have corresponding records in NetSuite by clicking the plus (+) icon.

  6. Click Sync Email.
