Importing DATR Depreciable Assets Using CSV Import
You can use the CSV import feature in NetSuite to add or update DATR Depreciable Asset records. For more information, see Importing CSV Files with the Import Assistant.
To add or update DATR Depreciable Assets using CSV import:

Go to Setup > Import/Export > CSV Import Preferences.

Check the box to enable Run Server SuiteScript and Trigger Workflows.

Go to Setup > Import/Export > Import CSV Records and follow the steps in the Import Assistant.

In Step 1 (Scan & Upload CSV File):

In the Import Type field, select Custom Records.

In the Record Type field, select DATR Depreciable Asset.

Ensure the appropriate character encoding format and CSV column delimiter is selected.

Choose one file or multiple files to upload.

Select the file or files to upload.

Click Next.

In Step 2 (Import Options), choose the appropriate data handling option and click Next.

If you are importing multiple files, complete Step 3 (File Mapping) and click Next. If you are importing only one file, the system directs you to Step 4.

In Step 4 (Field Mapping), provide field mappings for the following fields:

Legal Date of Acquisition

Legal date of Retirement

Depreciation Rate

Depreciable Amount Limit

Depreciable Asset Type Index

Municipal Code

Date of Retirement

In Step 5, you can save your settings and run the import.
