Birthday Reminders
WFM can send you notifications to remind you of an employee's birthday. This is useful as when an employee gets older they may be entitled to a pay increase. Plus it is always nice when people say happy birthday!
To view your notifications, click on the envelope at the top right corner of your screen.
Setting Up Birthday Notifications
To set up an automatic notification system for employee birthdays, go to Setup > Notifications. Click Birthday reminder.
From here you have a range of settings to adjust. The first option is whether you would like WFM to send you an automatic reminder, choose this option if you want a reminder for any upcoming birthdays (it is still important to complete the rest of the setup page as this information may still be applicable to managers)
You will then be given the option to choose how many days before the employee's birthday you will receive a notification, as well as an option to send a reminder on the day. The last section focuses on which managers will be informed of the birthday; you firstly have the option to make it so that only the managers that have primary control over the employee will receive a notification. If you want for other employees to know about employees' birthdays, then you can also include them.
Click Save continue.
