Combining E-Document Generation and Sending with the Process E-Document Button

By enabling the Process E-Document button, the administrator can combine e-document generation and sending as a single action. This button can be enabled and made available on invoices and credit memos. Before enabling the Process E-Document button, the e-document template and sending method must be specified on transactions.

To enable the Process E-Document button:

  1. As administrator, go to Setup > E-Documents > E-Document Preferences.

  2. On the E-Document Preferences page, in the E-Document Automation Type dropdown field, select Generate, Certify, Send.

    Note:

    E-document certification is not required by Singapore PEPPOL, and it is neither enabled nor set up in the SuiteApp. This means the system will ignore or skip the certification process and will only perform e-document generation and sending. Also, the Certify button will not be displayed.

  3. Click Save.

    The Process E-Document button becomes available for transactions such as invoice, credit memo, and purchase order. This means you can generate and send e-documents in one click. For more information, see Processing E-Documents Automatically for Individual Transactions.
