Contract Hours in SuitePeople Time Clock

Important:

As of February 18, 2025, support ends for SuitePeople Workforce Management Time Clock and SuitePeople Workforce Management mobile applications on Android 11 and earlier versions.

If you're using these versions, update your Android devices to version 12 or later to continue using WFM apps.

For more information, see SuitePeople Workforce Management on Unsupported Android Devices.

You can set up contract hours for employees. Once that's done, employees can create variations to these hours by clocking in or out.

If an employee's clock-in or clock-out time is different from their agreed contract or a previous variation, they'll be prompted to agree to a new variation for that day. They might be prompted at the start and end of their shift to agree to the new hours.

Contract Hours in SuitePeople Time Clock for Windows

The Action Required window displays the modified contract hours for the employee. For example, this employee's modified contract hours are from 2:45 pm to 5:45 pm.

If the employee selects Agree, their shift begins with the modified contract hours.

If the employee selects Decline, their shift won't begin with the modified contract hours and SuitePeople Time Clock will return to the PIN entry screen.

Before the employee selects Decline, they must enter a reason in the Comments field for declining the modified contract hours. A manager needs to enter their PIN and provide a reason for agreeing or declining a employee's choice to decline their modified contract hours.

The employee can then clock in to their shift.

Note:

AdiClock is now referred to as SuitePeople Time Clock.

In the iOS App Store and Google Play Store, SuitePeople Time Clock is called NetSuite Time Clock.

In Windows, the app is targeted to be renamed SuitePeople Time Clock in June 2024.

The Action Required window displays the modified contract hours for the employee. For example, this employee's modified contract hours are from 4 pm to 8 pm.

If an employee attempts to clock in with modified contract hours, an Action Required window will appear.

The Action Required window displays the employee's original contract hours and the proposed modified contract hours.

If the employee selects Agree, their shift begins with the modified contract hours.

To stop the clock-in attempt, the employee can select the arrow icon in the top-left corner to return them to the PIN entry screen. They won't be clocked in or clocked out.

If the employee selects Decline, their shift won't begin with the modified contract hours and SuitePeople Time Clock will return to the PIN entry screen. They must enter a reason for the decline and require a manager to authorize this decision.

If an employee enters a reason and tries to clock in with modified contract hours, it will then go the manager.

After the manager enters their PIN to approve the change in the employee's contract hours, they need to enter a reason for the change and accept or decline the variation in contract hours.

The employee can now successfully clock in to their shift.
