Moving Existing Items To Bin Locations
If you have existing items in your NetSuite account and you want to associate them with bins, you can move those items to their storage bin locations using the WMS Bin Putaway Worksheet record type in the Import Assistant.

To move existing items to bin locations:

Create a CSV (comma-separated value) file with the following data:

Item
-
Name
-
Putaway Quantity
-
Serial/Lot Number (if required)
-
To Bin Location
-
Units
-
WH Location
Note:You can import up to 500 line items in a single CSV file.

Log in to NetSuite WMS using the Administrator role.

Go to Setup > Import/Export > Import CSV Records.

Set the Import Type field to Custom Records.

Set the Record Type field to WMS Bin Putaway Worksheet.

Under CSV File(s), click Select.

Open the file you created in step one.

Click Next to move through the pages of the Import Assistant.

Click Save & Run.
