France Payment Formats

The France Localization SuiteApp provides payment templates in France-specific formats that you can use with the Electronic Bank Payments SuiteApp.

You can use the templates in the following formats to pay vendor bills, employee expenses, customer refunds, and partner commissions:

Note:

SEPA Credit Transfer (HSBC), SEPA Credit Transfer (ABN AMRO), and SEPA Direct Debit (ABN AMRO) formats, which are used in many European countries, are provided by the EMEA Localization SuiteApp, a prerequisite of the France Localization SuiteApp.

If your account already contains the Electronic Bank Payments SuiteApp with France templates, installing the France Localization SuiteApp will update those templates to comply with the current standards in France.

Electronic Bank Payments Setup for France Localization

The France Localization SuiteApp only provides the payment templates. The Electronic Bank Payments SuiteApp handles the processing of the payments. To use these templates for bank payments, you must have the Electronic Bank Payments SuiteApp installed.

If you will use France Localization with Electronic Bank Payments SuiteApp, you must do the following to set up the payments-related features:

  1. Install Electronic Bank Payments SuiteApp. For more information, see Installing the Electronic Bank Payments SuiteApp.

  2. Install the EMEA Localization SuiteApp.

  3. Install the France Localization SuiteApp.

  4. Set up bank records for your company and other entities. For more information, read the following topics:

Failure to install the SuiteApp in the proper order will cause issues with the Electronic Bank Payments SuiteApp.

As a workaround (to prevent uninstallation which deletes your data), you can update the EMEA Localization SuiteApp and France Localization SuiteApp in the France Localization Overview page in Setup > Customization > France Localization.

On the France Localization Overview page, you will be notified of the failure in the registration of France Localization components in Electronic Bank Payments SuiteApp. The status will say Update Required. Click Update in the Action column. For more information, see Management of France Localization Components.
