Viewing Human Resources KPIs on a Scorecard

HR Dashboard Components provides the configuration to set up a Human Resources KPI scorecard on your dashboard.

After it is set up, the KPI scorecard portlet will show a default set of metrics. You can edit the portlet to show additional human resources KPIs that are available.

Default Human Resources KPIs

The following table illustrates the metrics that are shown by default.

New Hires

Shows the variance between the number of new hires in the current year to date (YTD) versus the previous YTD. Variance measures the percentage change between the two periods.

First-Year Voluntary Terminations

Shows the variance between voluntary terminations in the current YTD versus the previous YTD for employees who worked for fewer than 365 days.

90-Day Terminations

Shows the variance between voluntary terminations in the current YTD versus the previous YTD for employees who worked for fewer than 90 days.

Terminations

Shows the variance between the number of employees terminated in the current year to date (YTD) versus the previous YTD.

Shows count of newly hired employees in the current YTD versus the previous YTD, and the variance between them.

First-Year Voluntary Terminations

Shows count of first-year voluntary terminations in the current YTD versus the previous YTD, and the variance between them.

90-Day Terminations

Shows count of 90-day terminations in the current YTD versus the previous YTD, and the variance between them.

Shows count of terminations in the current YTD versus the previous YTD, and the variance between them.

Additional Human Resources KPIs

The following table illustrates the metrics that are included with the Human Resources KPI configuration.

Turnover Rate

Shows the percentage of employees who leave the organization in the last YTD and in the current YTD, and shows the variance between them.

Turnover Rate (Female)

Shows the percentage of female employees who leave the organization in the last YTD and in the current YTD, and shows the variance between them.

Turnover Rate (Male)

Shows the percentage of male employees who leave the organization in the last YTD and in the current YTD, and shows the variance between them.

Total Active Employees

Shows count of total active employees in the last YTD and in the current YTD, and shows the variance between them. This figure counts active employees for the subsidiary assigned to your role.

Total Female Employees

Shows count of female employees in the last YTD and in the current YTD, and shows the variance between them. This figure counts active employees for the subsidiary assigned to your role.

Female Employees (%)

Shows percentage of total active female employees in the last YTD and in the current YTD. It also shows the variance between them. This figure counts active employees for the subsidiary assigned to your role.

Total Male Employees

Shows count of male employees in the last YTD and in the current YTD, and shows the variance between them. This figure counts active employees for the subsidiary assigned to your role.

Male Employees (%)

Shows percentage of total active male employees in the last YTD and in the current YTD. It also shows the variance between them. This figure counts active employees for the subsidiary assigned to your role.

Revenue per Active Employee

Shows the average revenue for each active employee in the last YTD and in the current YTD, and shows the variance between them.

Profit per Active Employee

Shows the average profit for each active employee in the last YTD and in the current YTD, and shows the variance between them.

Expense per Active Employee

Shows the average expense for each active employee in the last YTD and in the current YTD, and shows the variance between them.

Showing Additional KPIs on the Scorecard Portlet

You can edit the KPI Scorecard portlet to show additional human resources KPIs that are available.

To show additional KPIs on the scorecard portlet:

  1. Point to the menu icon on the upper right corner of the Human Resources KPIs portlet.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. On the Content subtab, go to the KPIs subtab.

  4. Choose the KPI that you want to show on the portlet.

  5. In the Hidden column, click the cell that corresponds to the KPI.

  6. Clear the box.

  7. Repeat steps 4 to 6 for each KPI that you want to show.

  8. Click Save.
