Assembly Item Plug-ins

The assembly item inventory detail assembles by calling the following plug-ins:

Assembly Bin Plug-in – searches for bins associated with the assembly item.
1. The plug-in reviews the work center to check whether a Complete To bin is assigned to it.
  
  If the work center has a bin assigned to it, the plug-in uses that bin.
2. If a completed to bin is not assigned, the plug-in checks the assembly item for a preferred bin.
  
  If the preferred assembly has a bin assigned to it, the plug-in uses that bin.
3. If the assembly is not associated with a bin, the plug-in returns a null.
  
  The operator then needs to identify a bin during production reporting on the tablet.
Assembly Lot/Serial Plug-in – returns a null to the tablet. The operator must provide lot/serial number(s) to complete the transaction.
