Timesheet Tracking Portlet

The Timesheet Tracking portlet lets you track weekly timesheets of your project resources and determine the resource capacity. The portlet also helps identify what action is required related to the status of timesheets.

The following screenshot shows the Timesheet portlet with the columns included in the table:

The system includes all timesheets associated to the project, and with dates that fall on or after the project’s start date.

The Timesheet Tracking portlet displays the following information:

There are two types of approval settings for time records:

Preferences can be set at Setup > Accounting > Preferences > Accounting Preferences Setup > Accounting > Preferences > Accounting Preferences. For more information about Time Tracking preferences, see Time & Expenses Accounting Preferences.

The following table shows how the approval settings affect the timesheet status:

Timesheet Status

Disabled

Disabled

The timesheet status is automatically set to Approved.

Enabled

Disabled

The timesheet status is set to either Pending Approval or Approved.

Enabled

Enabled

The timesheet status can be set to one of the following approval statuses:

  • Open

  • Pending Approval

  • Approved

  • Rejected
