Mapping Bank Accounts to GL Accounts
You can create an account profile to map the bank accounts in your feed to their corresponding GL accounts.
Account profiles help you configure the import of bank and credit card data for reconciliation. Setting up account profiles enables you to link your financial institution accounts to the appropriate accounts in NetSuite and map custom bank codes to bank data types.
To map bank accounts to GL accounts:
-
Go to Transactions > Bank > Japan Bank Feeds.
-
In the Bank Information section, under the Bank Accounts subtab, look for the Linked GL Account column.
-
Click on the row of the bank account that you want to map to a GL account and select the GL account.
Note:Only map to GL accounts that are associated with the subsidiary or connection you selected during the bank feeds setup. Ensure that the subsidiary's currency is set to Yen.
-
Click Save Changes.
-
In the Account Profile window, enter a name for the account profile, and click Save.
