Prerequisites for Installing the Japan Financial Statements SuiteApp
Before installing the SuiteApp, these features must be enabled from Setup > Company > Enable Features:

On the Company subtab, check Multi-Language under International.

On the Accounting subtab, check Accounting Periods.

On the SuiteCloud subtab, check Advanced PDF/HTML Templates.

In addition, SuiteScript 2.1 must be enabled to access or view the comparative balance sheet, comparative income statement, and the new trial balance. To do this, go to Setup > Company > General Preferences and select 2.1 in the Execute SuiteScript 2.X Server Scripts As field.
