Configuring Transaction Line Custom Fields for Kit Assembly Value Transfer

You can configure the kit or assembly transaction line custom field to copy values from sales order items to fulfillment items.

This topic explains how to set up transaction line custom fields on kit or assembly components to ensure field values entered at the sales order stage are carried over to related item fulfillments. This supports consistent capture and reporting of custom data through the order-to-fulfillment cycle. To configure the transaction line custom field on items with kit or assembly components:

1. Go to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Column Fields.

2. Click the Applies To subtab

3. To have kit or assembly transaction line fields copy values from sales orders to related item fulfillments, check the Apply to Kit/Assembly Components box.
