What Happens When You Enable Project Management Cloud Integration

When you enable Project Management Cloud Integration and Project Reporting, the following changes occur:

  • Two Smart Lists are added to the application—CapitalProjectTemplate and IndirectProjectTemplate.
  • Rules are added to the application. See EPM Planning Projects Rules for Integration with Project Management.
  • Job types are added to the application—Export Projects and Budgets, Import Project Actuals, and Import Projects and Budgets.
  • A reporting cube—PFP_REP—is added to the application. The dimensions enabled for the reporting cube vary depending on the features you enabled.
  • Some accounts are added to the Account dimension.

  • Members are added to the Resource Class dimension: OPF_Loadand OPF_Adjustment (+/-).
  • Existing Smart Lists are modified: Project Priority is updated to include "No Priority". Rank is updated to include "No Rank".

  • The valid intersection rule Resource Class is modified.
  • Some rules and forms have been modified to support the integration. See Updating Projects Artifacts.

Additional artifacts are added to the application when you initialize the integration in Data Integration.
