Workflow agents in AI Agent Studio: Additional Nodes

Workflows now have additional nodes to call tools and control the flow of information through agent teams.

Here's the list of the new nodes:

Category Nodes Descriptions
Data
  • Tool

This single node type allows you to call an existing subset of tools. Here are a few examples:

  • Deep Link: Adds the Deep Link tool as a node.
  • Intent change indicator: Resets or segments a chat history from the intent specified in the intent field.
  • Chat attachments reader: Processes files uploaded in the chat as markdown text or base64 format.
  • User session: Adds the User Session tool as a node that returns the relevant identifying data from the user, such as PersonNumber or Username.
Workflow Control
  • While
  • Wait

These nodes control the processing and branching of the workflow.

  • While: Runs a loop of contained nodes until a condition is met.
  • Wait: Waits until an action is completed or a specific number of iterations is met.

These nodes improve the user experience by allowing greater control over the flow of information through the agent team.
