Collaborate with AI Agents in other platforms using the Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol
Published AI agents in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications can now collaborate with AI agents in other platforms using the A2A protocol. AI agents can be discovered using Agent Cards and called using a standard request and response model. Using the A2A protocol also includes a shared lifecycle for long-running or asynchronous tasks.
Here are the main steps in using the A2A protocol for cross-platform AI agent collaboration:
- Discover the agent using the registry.
- Retrieve the Agent Card.
- Authenticate according to the card’s requirements.
- Call the agent using the A2A invocation API.
Collaborating with AI agents across platforms enables interoperability between systems, true multi agent connectivity, and scalability across enterprise environments.
Steps to enable and configure
Users must have access to the published Oracle AI Agents.
