One-Week Lag Between Readiness Documents Live and Help Center Live

Because Oracle readiness documents (What's New and New Feature Summary) are live one week before the monthly update is applied to Test environments, some links to documentation included in the readiness documents will not work until after the Oracle Help Center update is complete when the monthly update is applied to Test environments.

EPM CLOUD PLATFORM

Oracle No Longer Deprecating EPM Automate and REST API Settings For Idle Session Timeout for OCI (Gen 2) Environments

In the previous Readiness document, Oracle announced that starting with the February (25.02) update, the setIdleSessionTimeout and getIdleSessionTimeout EPM Automate commands and the corresponding REST APIs would no longer work for OCI (Gen 2) environments.

Oracle has decided not to deprecate these EPM Automate commands and the corresponding REST APIs. They will continue to work for OCI (Gen 2) as well as Classic environments.

Install the Newest Version of EPM Automate

Oracle strongly recommends that you install and use the latest version of EPM Automate. The best practice is to update EPM Automate every month so that you get to take advantage of the latest new features, bug fixes, and stability, security, and reliability improvements.

Allow Access to static.oracle.com

The Getting Started with EPM Cloud for Administrators Guide is updated to remind customers to allow access to static.oracle.com. For the Oracle Redwood Experience to work, Customers must allow access to static.oracle.com, which it provides image files, JavaScript, and other static content.

ENTERPRISE DATA MANAGEMENT

User and Group Icon Changes in Inspectors and Reports

Starting in the October (24.10) update, the behavior of the user and group icons in the inspectors and reports has changed as follows:

For the Policy, Subscription, and View inspectors, the user icon has been removed. You can now click the group icon to display the members of that group.
For the Group Permission, Policy Listing, and Subscription reports, the group icon is now displayed to the right of the group name. You can click the group icon to display the members of that group.

Removal of Fields Inadvertently Returned in Get Job API Call

Starting in the October (24.10) update, the Get the job run with the given ID API call inadvertently returns two additional fields in the response: “jobProgress”, and “jobSize”. These fields have been removed from the response in this update.

Additional Reserved Column Names in Request File Format

Starting with the October (24.10) update, the request file format includes four additional reserved column names: Data Source, Source Node Name, Source Node Type, and Source Node ID. If you have an existing custom property that uses any of these names, the custom property may be inadvertently updated during a request file load or in a subscription request. To avoid this situation, you should rename your custom property to prevent any unintended updates to the property.
