New Data Export Option for BSO Cubes Only: Disable Implied Share

The new Disable Implied Share data export option for BSO cubes exports the child row in the data file even if both parent and child rows have the same data.

Applies to: Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Planning, Tax Reporting

By default, implied sharing is enabled during data export. This means that when data is exported, the implied sharing relationship is maintained so only the parent row is exported because the child row contains the same data as the parent. But if you want to export the child data row, you can select the Disable Implied Share option to disable the implied sharing relationship so that the child row can be exported.

To view the Disable Implied Share option:

  1. Click Application, and then click Overview.
  2. Click Actions, and then select Export Data.
  3. Click Create to view the Disable Implied Share option.

Business Benefit: This feature provides the flexibility to export data to the child level.
