Enhanced Tax Automation Source Account

Tax Reporting now provides the ability to add accounts that are not part of the default Smart List definition to the Automation Source Account Smart List, allowing them to be selected as source accounts in the Tax Automation screens.

A new attribute called Tax Automation Source Account is now added for the Account dimension. While running Refresh DB, all the accounts with the Tax Automation Source Account attribute will be identified and automatically included in the Automation Source Account smart list. Accounts in the Automation Source Account smart list can be selected as source accounts for tax automation rules. If the Tax Automation Source Account attribute is removed from an account, the Automation Source Account smart list is updated accordingly after Refresh DB.

Business Benefit: The introduction of the Tax Automation Source Account attribute helps preserve the Automation Source Account Smart List definition during and after snapshot imports. After snapshot import, the Smart List retains its original definition while also including accounts tagged with the Tax Automation Source Account attribute, helping to prevent potential data loss.
