Future Time Labels and Future Dated Requests

Future time labels can be defined for views to allow users to make changes to enterprise data that will take effect on a future date.  Requests can be submitted using future time labels set up for specific views.  Governance workflows are processed immediately for future dated requests, but the requests will not be completed until the future date has been reached.  After the requests have been approved and committed, they are set to Future Dated status and held until the future date.  Workflow policies can be configured to enable certain approvers and committers to add, change, or remove a future time label for a request after it has been submitted.

Business Benefit: Request users can postpone data changes made in the present to a future time period when they should take effect.  This provides the convenience of submitting changes when decisions are made while ensuring that the changes are only applied to enterprise data at the proper point in time.
