Additional Data Types for Descriptive Flexfields in Financials Cloud General Ledger Applications

Boolean, Memo, and Node data type properties can be used for descriptive flexfields of Financials Cloud General Ledger applications in Enterprise Data Management.  When configuring a descriptive flexfield during Financials Cloud General Ledger application registration, a previously created Boolean, Memo, or Node data type property can be selected for use with that flexfield.  This capability is available for both global and context-sensitive descriptive flexfields.

Business Benefit: Descriptive flexfield values for a Financials Cloud General Ledger application can be managed as Boolean, Memo, or Node data type properties rather than as basic String properties for enhanced maintenance in Enterprise Data Management.
