Ability to Roll Back Environments
If a fix for a critical issue in an updated production or test environment is not immediately available, you may request Oracle to revert the Narrative Reporting environment to the state it was in before the monthly update. Reverting environments involves reloading the backup from the previous month. This request was previously available to all business processes other than Narrative Reporting.
Business Benefit: This feature helps you revert the changes in a recently updated environment in rare cases where the changes result in a critical issue for which a fix is not available..
Steps to Enable
To enable this feature you need to log a Service Request (SR).
- Follow the instructions available here to ask Oracle to roll back the environment: Requesting a Rollback of Production or Test Environments to a Previous Update.
