oAuth 2 Authentication to use Client ID in Tokens for Communication with IDCS
Starting with this update, OAuth 2.0 authentication for EPM Automate and Cloud EPM REST APIs with Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) uses the client ID as the subject in OAuth tokens.
As a result, user management operations performed in IDCS using EPM Automate commands or REST APIs display the client ID in the Performed By column of the Role Assignment Audit Report. The audit behavior for Basic Authentication is unchanged.

A Sample Role Assignment Audit Report Displaying the Client ID
Applies to: Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Narrative Reporting, Planning, Profitability and Cost Management, Tax Reporting
Business Benefit: This enhancement enables consistent and accurate audit trail of role assignment changes made in IDCS.
