Application Diagnostics Tool

An Application Diagnostics tool is now available to help administrators evaluate application design for Oracle-recommended Essbase and Planning best practices and identify issues that may affect performance, maintainability, and overall application health. The tool performs self-service assessments across key design areas, including metadata, dimensions, forms, and executed rules, and identifies potential concerns such as dimension property settings, form suppression settings, and rules launched with errors.

Business Benefit: This tool generates an Excel report in the Inbox/Outbox folder containing diagnostic findings, impact details, and recommendations for improvement, enabling administrators to proactively optimize application design and troubleshoot issues more efficiently.
